Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actress, singer and songwriter for several years. As a child she was subjected to racial taunts by a lot of Americans. It was during her ninth grade that she gained confidence following her acclaim during an audition. Not only did she gain confidence because of the experience, but she also changed career goals. She was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. At the age of 23, her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail were both her big breaks. The greatest accomplishment of her career occurred with her portrayal of The Lady Of The Lake on Spamalot's first Broadway production. In addition to being the only actress to get the Tony Award, but her performance was also praised by reviewers. In 2007, she was cast in the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. Apart from having a cult following as a singer, she released a solo and an extended piece. She also works as a LGBT activist.
