Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American performer and songwriter, hails from St. Louis Missouri. Her most famous work is her role in the CW TV series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as the main singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in television and film shows like How to Be Single Going the Distance as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on June 26, 1993. she is the younger sibling of Sloane Momsen who is also an actress. She studied dancing at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. Her first professional role was a Shake 'n Bake national commercial at the age three. Momsen was on hiatus in her career for three years prior to being cast as the lead in Misconceptions, a WB TV series. Momsen also appeared at the time in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). The audition she gave for the role of Hannah Montana was top 3. Miley gained the role.
