Lita Rossana Ford also known as Lita Ford, as she's popularly known as was an American born British musician and vocalist who was the leader of the only female hard rock band The Runaways during the late 1970s. Ford began a solo heavy metal career after the disbandment from her band in 1979. Her debut solo album was called 'Dancin' on the Edge and was followed by the Album Out for Blood.
