Lita Rossana Ford, also called Lita Ford, is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist born in Britain. She was a lead guitarist for The Runaways, a hard-rock band made up of all girls from the 1970s. Their punkish music and provocative lyrics helped them get recognized by the rock world. Though the group didn't achieve much success in America, they were hugely popular overseas. That was the case especially in Japan. Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever both were huge hits. However, her fame was temporary, and she was gone for several years. The resurgence of her career came with albums "Black" in 1995 as well as "Wicked Wonderland" which came out almost 15 years after. "Time Capsule," her debut album "Time Capsule" was released by her in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
