Hayley Orrantia is an American performer, actress and songwriter. People are most familiar with her character Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. She is to be primarily as a musician. When she was nine years old of age, she was dabbling into music. When she was 12 the world of music had become serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. In the age of 13, she began creating songs. She recorded her debut album when she was 14. The rest is history. Orrantia was raised in the USA but holds Hispanic roots. She is proud of the fact that she has Hispanic origins, despite in English only, and did not live in Mexico. Her aim is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs and taking classes in the language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she's recorded is an instance. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X-Factor following the submission of a YouTube audition video. She was awarded an impressive four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage show in Seattle. While she auditioned initially as a solo artist, at "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were placed into a group for the rest in the selection process. The group was removed from the show during the fifth week of live performances.
